Ford Think Parts

You need to remove the inner fender to gain access

Mine did the exact same thing. I drilled out the aluminum rivets and I put a large hose clamp that covered both plug and holder. It grabbed both sides and holds it in place. Has worked for two years. I think there is a complete new plug assembly that works but I have no info on that…

I went to this forum looking for useful links.
Thank you very much, I need these bearings, it’s good that I found them.

Anyone have information on the windshield wiper motor and wiper arm? My motor is working, but the inside of the wiper arm that connects to the motor (spline) appears to be stripped.

Hi, I found a Think Cart a few months ago and picked it up immediately (never having seen one before). My local Golf Cart Store said it needed new Brakes, U Joints, and Ball Joints but they can’t locate the parts and won’t order outside of their network. Does anyone by chance know these part numbers? (apologies if I missed them in this thread, a lot of new information for me!).

Also, now my Think Cart won’t start. It buzzes like its charging but doesn’t click on at all. Anyone know a shop or person in the Asheville NC area that can work on Thinks? I’ve tried both local cart shops without success.

Brake master cylinder is a Dorman M39134, brake shoes Centric 111.07990. One guy thinks he has found wheel cylinders, I’ll let you know if they’re the correct ones or not. The u-joints you should be able to remove one and measure it to find the right replacement.

Nev Accessories sells ball joints and also cv axles if you wanted to upgrade from u-joints but they’re not cheap.

If you need a copy of the service manual send me your email address.

Thank you! Is there another option for buying ball joints, u joints or cv axles (If I can afford that route) aside from NEV (I’ve read their prices are quite inflated).

Anyone know what switch to use for the key switch

I bought mine off of ebay. It uses a different style of key so I now have one key for the ignition and the original key for the locks.

Any luck with the ball joints, other than getting them from NEV? Thanks

Hey all, I am looking to see if anyone could point me into getting this key switch. I notice that mine keep falling out when I hit rough terrain. Keep in mine that my cart is wired differently so the norma key switch pretty much powers the lights in the on position. This key is for the 120v power as mention on previous posts. I have also included a pic of the DC converterthe was running my radio. It still functioned but I got rid of it becauseI didn’t like the way it was mounted plus I figured I tap into a source receiving power from my sevcon.

Anyone piece together a disk brake upgrade parts list without buying the kit?

A lot of the brake parts are from an older Fiat 124 so you might try seeing what’s available for converting one of those and see if it will work

Someone has been into this before me I suspect that these are rear wheel cylinders but they work

After issues with headlights and finding relay was bad, found out it’s takes the same OMRON Electronic Components G8JN-1C6T-DC12 relay for the headlights, wipers, etc.
relay
relay 2 pack

This multi-function switch is the exact fit. Everything works, horn, flashers, parking and headlights, headlights flash, signals, wipers and washer. It does not come with a flash relay, so you have to use the one in your old switch, if it is still good.

So I purchased the Didieyes 2pcs 3.5in White COB LED Fog Lights, posted by @cartywho, for my headlights
They were not as bright as I wanted, so I looked for a better solution.
I saw these posted as a super bright replacement for Ford Think headlights. So I ordered them:
Amazon.com: 4" Round Fog Lights Compatible with 2011-2014 Ford F-150 2X30W CREE LED Spot Fog Lamp Front Bumper Driving Light Bulb LED Passing Lights Smoke Lens : Automotive
I will be installing them this week and will post pics

Also for anyone needing or wanting extra keys:
I just received 2 uncut Ford Think keys from this Ebay Seller.
Had them cut at a locksmith for $3.21 for both keys.

Is that the # that you replaced them with? I found the centric shoes reasonable but also need to replace all the leaking wheel cylinders and prefer to not have to modify anything if possible. Thanks for the info

Yes…the fronts.
