Ford Think Parts

Anyone needing wheel (hub) bearings for a Ford Think the bearing number is 6006RS. You need two per wheel and the same bearings are used front and back. Amazon sells a 10 pack for $23 shipped. People charge $20 a piece plus shipping for the exact same bearing. Crazy

If you’re looking at replacing the 3rd brake light it’s the exact same as a Ford Ranger. This is the one I bought with a smoked lens https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019JBNQMO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Here’s LED tail/brake lights that were exact replacements and look great. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EQ01JBE/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Brake light switch is part number 93BB-13480-AF

Not sure I would trust a $2.30 Chinesium bearing in a vehicle’s wheel / hub assembly…

I agree but that’s what Nevaccessories.com and others sell for $20 a piece plus shipping. Sellers on eBay want even more for these and they are the exact same bearing Amazon sells for a tenth of the price. At least people will have options knowing the part number. Many different manufactures you can choose from along with hybrid ceramic bearings.

Gotcha, I think I mis-read your post the first time.

New Think 4 seater owner here…Looking forward to learning more from fellow forum members.

A few parts I need:
(1) Horn - I am assuming any standard 12V horn would work ? That said, is there a standard and cheap OEM Ford horn that is used across platforms that is plug & play (assuming there is a OEM clip vs. aftermarket male / female connections)? I haven’t yet seen a wiring diagram for the car.

(2) Wiper motor - the wipers are not working, but I have not verified the root cause…Should the motor be bad, are there any universal motors that work? What have others done?

Thanks in advance

Just about any car horn should work. If you want a plug and play the OEM horn is made by Fiamm and the part number is 0055306. Google it and just look at the picture to make sure the electrical connector is the same before ordering one.

I don’t have the part number for the wiper motor but if you take it off I’m sure you can find the part number on it to help you get a new one. A lot of the parts used on the Think were also used on other Ford vehicles.

Thanks David! I actually have a spare Bosch horn in the garage and may just use it. If you could send me a shop manual, that would be great ! My email is cij911@gmail.com

Thanks

Cool parts David! I’ll be odering today. I changed steering wheel and headlights as well. Went with a quick release steering wheel and LED headlights and fogs.

What parts did you need to make the steering wheel work? I’ve been wanting to change mine out as well. Also which headlights did you use? Thanks

Yes that steering wheel was hilariously hideous! All parts listed are needed to convert steering will but it’s extremely easy to do. Headlights are a little more complex but I have it packed down.

Wow this is great. I’ve been looking for these items for a while now.

Are the headlights brighter than the factory lights? Did the brackets need modifying?

Do you have to get the quick release for the steering wheel or will it work without it? If it will work without it should I go with the longer adaptor?

Thanks

The new headlights are easily 30% brighter or more! It’s like night and day. I used same brackets as old lights just had to knock them from both sides evenly since these are a tad bit smaller. Made hole on light housing a bit bigger for different screws to hold them to existing bracket. That adapter will only work with a quick release but maybe you can get a longer adapter and just mount the steering wheel to adapter? The short adapter with quick release gives the steering wheel the perfect height to fit perfectly with the steering column covers so it’s a perfect fit pretty much.

I’m afraid I’ll go into a store and when I come out the steering wheel will be gone. Otherwise I love the quick release idea.

You can always take it off and just put in trunk and lock it up maybe? I’m just sure on the other way since I haven’t tried it personally.

Does your horn work with that set up? Looking at the pictures I don’t see the contact plate for the horn on the adapter.

I wired up the horn by taping into wires that connect to the back of the steering column. I had to make the leads long to be able to handle full motion turning.
