The small/midsize truck market in the US is gone due to it costing about the same to make a small or big truck and full size trucks and small trucks doing about the same in fuel economy.
so, in 2013/2014 you going to see the return of cars that look like 70s el caminos… basically cars offer truck functionality… only this time with swiss knife functionality.
In the mix, there but be a big mpg difference between these trucks and full size trucks, so we might see some hybrid trucks that can do 40mpg city thanks to EV RWD, with a small combustion FWD for crusing.
