My wife ripped the extension cord out of the charging socket with a twisting king fu motion and the ground from the cart is still in the extension cord. She swears it was like that when she found it. My question is will the dq charger work properly or will it the plug need to be replaced? What are problems that could happen with out it? It seems to be charging. I had to try it.

Sure- no prob. It’ll still work fine.
Hazards? Don’t park your cart in the pool and try to charge it.
Does she also handle the pickle jar without your help?

The plug on the outside of the GEM is made by Marinco it’s a marine power plug for supplying shore power to a boat. It’s connected to a c13 cord (computer power cord) that plugs into a pigtail coming off the Delta q. Should be a very easy fix
Few. Now I can guilt her into upgrades
Probably need to get rid of the car because she made it unsafe and get a 2022 
It should be grounded, you can buy a marine plug on Amazon or I might have a replacement from one of my j1772 conversions.
