Do you know what shape your seat is in?

I new mine needed reupholstering, but didn’t know what I was in for till I took it to the upholstery shop. He pulled the cover off the frame and we found this!
I made a base from 3/4" plywood for him to work with. will show pics when its done.

While the covers are off, look for frame cracks and broken welds. All of our seat frames have needed reinforcement. Once improved with better welding, the frames have been trouble free for years. We have some heavy operators. This applies to four and six seat GEMs.

Hey Daniel,
Can I get replacement frames? what do they cost?
Thanks,
John
