Contactor Problem?

I have a 2002 e825. My gel batteries are less than 6 months old. Now the vehicle will not go. Individual battery voltages are all over 13 volts. Total voltage is over 78. When I turn the switch and drop the parking brake, I don’t hear the contractor “clunk”. The hour meter quickly goes to all zeros and the warning buzzer sounds. Do I have a contactor problem? How do I trouble shoot?

It might be a loose or corroded connection

You might be right. Went back downstairs and it’s working fine. Dang thing will make a liar out of you.

Seems like it would have stopped charging since the voltage was over 78v.

Most of the time I get four flashing red lights when I unplug it.
