Connection to monitor pack voltage 2001 e825

@Inwo @LithiumGods Hi guys, quick question: want to add a pack voltage meter. I just checked voltage across the two power connections to the controller and it read over 80v which is about right with current SOC. Is that a good place to tap or should I be doing so elsewhere?

Appreciate your help and wish everyone a safe sane and virus free 4th of July!

at the pack or the contactor . really doesn’t matter

I’m adding a dash gage for volts and amps right of the glove box. I connected it to the contactor out.

That’s clean. Mind if I ask for a link to the gauge?

I have a larger unit but it only had a 12" ribbon and I was worried it may not reach from the shunt to the gauge while replacing the dash top. I had not mounted the shunt yet on the one above before a guy wanted to buy the Gem E4 ASAP, so I sold it. I was going to mount the shunt to the Contractor out.
So I ended up with 3 of these jewels

Here’s the larger unit with the 12" 6 conductor ribbon. It will fit the same location with no extra clearance.

Thanks. Just ordered one.
