Brake Line Fitting Size

I have a leaking brake line and I’m trying to fine replacement steel brake lines for the rear. My local auto parts store has lines, but we are struggling to see what size the fittings are on the wheel cylinder and the t-connection in the rear. Does anyone know? Or know somewhere to buy the line? Can’t find it anywhere.

NEVACCESSORIES.COM carries replacements

He doesn’t have that one listed, only the rubber lines. This one is steel.

For a hard line, you can just make your own with a tubing cutter, tubing bender and a flaring tool, ideally double flare if you can get it. A lot of auto parts stores will loan these tools out for free** Worst case, you’re looking $40 or less to buy everything.

The compression fittings are standard, but they are metric IIRC. If you can’t find them, you can just cut the old line a few inches back from the fittings so you can tape it back together as a pattern. Leave the ends an inch or so long, do your middle bends first, then fit it, mark it and then cut and flare the ends.

**: around here they charge you full price for the tool, then refund in full when you return it. YMMV.
