9kwh
1/2 of a full Chevy Spark 18kwh pack.
2015 8k miles. As new.
No mechanical reconfiguration. Water jackets intact.
Electrically connected for 24s or 20s 110ah.
This has a theoretical 60 Mile range.

Fitment in an E2 is in question. I have an expert on it. :grinning:

Bms-24 users will notice one thing that makes this configuration nice.
3 identical 8s modules connecting to the 3 ports of bms through factory harness.

Depending on what accessories needed this is a $2000 to $2500 drop in system.
Easily connected for high performance 24s or stock 20s.
If it tests out. The other 1/2 may be available.
Spark packs are rare. I think I have all the new ones!

Tracking shows bms-24s to be here Monday.
I’ll test and post pictures connected to Spark modules.

Now parallel those Volt modules for higher miles.
Fits Chevy Volt modules.
6s, 12s, 16s
All 18pins wired straight thru. Up to 9 parallel packs to JST-XH for monitor or bms.
$25 as shown
Need two and pcb for 6. (solar applications)

David what would be involved in hooking up the water jackets and would their be a advantage of running water threw them. And would you run water or Anti Freeze?

I think if anything, air. They have heater hose barb fittings. To get cooling below ambient, a swamp cooler?Use distilled or treated water and a small pump. Some type of evaporator to cool.
Or go high tech with peltier cooling.Use antifreeze and gravity circulation.

Our Volt occasionally starts up its fan and coolant pump (separate system from engine) when plugged in charging, or not, on a hot day here in Los Angeles. How hot do you find the cells running?

Good to know. I wonder how that cools it?
Never gets warm here.

Video of install in the works.
Grant, modules marked black, blue, and red.
Only difference is that the red is,tapped for 22s.
That way you can disconnect #23 & 24 from bms.

One more set of these if someone wants to play along.

but the cells aren’t shinny like the leaf ones :sunglasses:

Hi.
I am up to a lithium converson on my 2005 eS.
i will use Nissan 2015 e-NV200/leaf modules. They are pretty open for contamination. Is there anyone that have build housing for the pack and maybe also heating solution they are willing to share with me.
I live in Stockholm Sweden and my doughter shall have it to school also during wintertime.
