I’m laughing at my self. Had to “phone a Friend”

Led Brake light install. Simple Right?

First step take off the rear fender! Yup when your running big wheels like me you need to make sure the tail light wires are ran super close to the inner fender. If they are not run in a certain path the wheel will rub on the harness and drama will ensue. So fender is off. And on the work bench.

The new lights have 3 wires. Red, Black, White
A normal person would think Red is running light
Black is Ground, White would be Brake/Turn
NOPE
After scratching my head,
White = Ground
Black = 12v running lights
Red = Brake & Turn

For the conversion on your 08 or newer car it breaks down like this

Drivers side
**tail light **. Car
RED. go’s to. Blue/Grey
BLACK go’s to Blue/Purple
WHITE go’s to. Black

Passenger side

RED = Black/Blue
WHITE= Black
BLACK = Purple /Blue

I know the photo in this link is wrong but this is exactly what I bought. The seller must have mixed up the photo. But this is the exact link from when I bought them.

Strange/Update; I just put a set of these on my 2008, Good news the tail light wires are the same colors on the 08 as the 2013

The strange part is when I ordered the lights the check out total was $0.00 then I noticed a second order for the same tail lights (looked like I ordered twice) well 2 tail lights showed up in 2 separate boxes with 2 different tracking numbers. “sum ting Wong”
