Are there third party companies that install and sell batteries for electric cars? I like the Mitsubishi i MiEV but the $10,500 battery replacement is one of the things that scares me away.
The best solution to this problem is to do it on your own. You just have to buy the battery and let the rest of the work be left in your hands. Installing or changing them looks complicated but it is really easy. Youtube and websites like this are a great venue to learn all the possible techniques to make the job flow smoothly.
