Would you feel more confident moving to a hybrid and then on to a full EV in the future?
IMHO PLUG IN Hybrids will be the ultimate out come. Really has all the bases covered.
Electric for local and Petrol for traveling. Volt and Prius are already major players in this segment,
Maybe pure electric for use in city centres and a mass of charging facilities?
The current electrical infrastructure wont support a “mass” of charging facilities without significant capacity upgrading. The outlets would have to be metered to pay for the installation, maintenance and power transferred. I won’t see this in my lifetime but my great grand kids might.
IMHO plug in hybrids will be the norm.
