Is cluster a dc-dc converter? 72v in and 12v out?
It may very well not handle more than 86v. The normal battery charging voltage.
Some profiles go well over the voltage you have now.
Cluster does have a converter of its own. Good up to 105v to 12v I checked that this morning and 12.6 volts to the cluster.
My concern is the 87 volts on pin 7 going into the cluster.
Thinking Ford had the same protection as the controller as far as not wanting to pull in the contactor over 82v this the spoof on the control side. Again just a guess.

I did change out the cluster again. I got it to run with the serial converter plugged in. Nothing without it plugged in.
It is the D2 controller
That serial device pulls pin 3 down.
Key off 3.75v
Key rev 3.26
Key turf 15.07
Key drive 14.97
Without serial device plugged in
Off 12.73
Rev 13.88
Turf 26.59
Drive 26.28
Motor will run with serial device in
What is your email to send this manual.
Looks the same as yours. Apparently, Ford changed it up a little
What is this then?
You may need to start over wiring control switches if that diagram D2 is correct.
All the switches are supplied by +12vdc.
I don’t know where the dc supply is, but it’s not working.
One side of each switch should measure 12v. Including the throttle pedal switch.
The other side of each switch goes to respective inputs 3, 4, 5, 6. It should be that simple.
Are you referencing B- for all controller measurements?
Correct B-
Everything goes Through the cluster.
What happens to the cluster pin 7 voltage in the cluster?
The key switch goes through the cluster also.
That is from the Ford Manual. It matches my 23 pin connector.
Is this the first Think on 90 volts?
Is this the first Think on 90 volts?
No- It is not. The others have performed the swap with predicted trickery.
Just to be clear-
Q- when you are probing Pin 3-
- are these readings at your cluster?
- or at your Controller
If measuring controller 12v, I think you should be referencing P16?
Pin 7 at at the cluster
All other pins at the controller
B- negative lead 23 pin connector positive lead.
Pin 3 should be 12 volts also
Both controllers act basically the same. Two clusters act a little different, but close.
Only when throttle pressed. Normally 0 volts.
Same with 4 5 6. 0 or 12v.
