I finally got the extra parts to get my extra factory power steering unit installed. They call it EAPS “electric assist power steering” first step is to get the car all pulled apart and unfortunately things got carried away

I was surprised to find that the car didn’t come with the threaded inserts needed to install. No big deal local hardwear store had the 10mm 1.25 Riv nuts I needed. Once they got installed I could install the EAPS unit

Getting closer and closer: it’s fired up and working! Man it’s so NICE I have not officially talken it out of the garage but the difference is huge. Fingers crossed I’m driving today
