I drove a GEM with Power steering and now I want one but I refuse to pay what Polaris is asking,
if anyone knows where to buy an used one or a cheaper one lmk.
I don’t have too much time to adapt other models I want a plug and play one if possible.

Just saw this post… so do u have electronic power steering for a 2001 E4 Gem…and how much?

I suspect Rodney has “EZ-Steer” units. you can search on it, he’s posted photos, it’s a pretty cool setup.

I noticed that the later cars also feature a little extension nub off the spindle arm to get more leverage. I’m surprised nobody has tried making a few and offered this as an aftermarket upgrade.
You can see it in the parts diagram (but not as a separate part item).
