Hey Grant, new member here and I cant seem to find a “new topic” button to make a separate post, but as a GEM enthusiast could you give me a quick run down on the 2013-15 vs 2016+ comparisons in terms of comfort and reliability. Currently I have a 2+2 Icon golf cart that goes 25mph, and I use it for commuting to a downtown office job in St. Louis, MO, among other short trips around the city, basically as a car replacement. Streets here can be pretty rough and full of potholes and the ICON just isnt quite cutting it, in addition to looking for a cart that has a windshield wiper. At first I was looking at the older GEMs, I know they’re 72V. But I was wondering as someone that really only needs to go 25 (maybe 30 max), would a 2016+ model be more comfortable?
And you might not have any experience with this in SoCal, but I’ve also been concerned with getting a lithium pack that can handle the cold temps we get here.
Final side question: Do the OEM hard doors rattle alot over bumps? At 25mph of course, not 40+.

Yep - it is hidden. I don’t know why.
The easiest method is to just tap your keyboard “c” key(no modifiers). This action will open up the “New Topic” editor window. (think “c” for create). A sample of what your are publishing is in the window to the right.
Depending on what is being viewed at the time, the editor might copy/paste a few things into your editor window along with some HTML markup in the Body.
Clear all that out of you are starting a new topic. Type in a new Topic name. Make it catchy and somewhat descriptive as to what your issue is.
Also- use the pull down window and select which forum you want your new message to end up.
If you want to insert a graphic or picture to help with your description use the Insert Graphic tool in the editor toolbar.
If your picture is too big you can scale it 100, 75, 50% if you cursor over it in the View window.
If you want more handy forum shortcuts and tips, pull down the Hamburger Menu located up next to the Magnifying Glass search tool. Yes, it is actually called the Hamburger Menu.

2013-2015 gems are the BEST classic year gem you can get. And in my opinion the 2016+ Cars are just a Whole Different game. After having the 16+ cars I don’t want anything to do with the older cars. The New gems are just so much better in Every way. The Only down side to the New gems in my opinion, you don’t have as many people that are super versed in them. So if ya have a problem they can be harder to find help fixing. The classics have so many great people that can help ya get them fix it’s Great.
