Good news for controller. It seems that throttle is bad. The other situation we referenced had two bad throttles. You have done all the testing that I can think of.
“A” goes to p7 = .5v to 4v. “F” to p3 switch, 2.5v to zero.
C&D to 5v p9. B&E to b-.
Wouldn’t hurt to meter B-C and D-E, to make sure B- is connected.
I’m not done yet.
In review- (the current error:)
-05 → Start switch fails to close at pedal press.
P3 Voltage on wire is 0.15 (pedal up) and 0.2v pedal pressed. which means it is closed and actually STAYING closed?
Why is this thing not setting a code -11 at KeyON?
Good catch! P3 must be over 2v at idle.
It does show Code 11 for a second with the key on.
Then what makes it go away and show a -05?
(yes, this is a test)
05 only shows when depressing the throttle.
I should have drawn more attention to the Code 11. It does it only the first key turn. Repeated key turns I guess it assumes you already saw it.
Any suggestions where to get a throttle?
Pedal press does not clear -11? Key reboot does clear -11?
Price one at R4F. Also at a big Gem dealer such as Oscar in Fl.
One more test when you have time.
I want to be sure the hall sensor/pedal is dead-dead.
These are stupid expensive and I don’t like to suggest spending other peoples’ money without being sure.
Pin the wire at P7 (Ref B-).

What is V Pedal UP? (Start V)
Pressing pedal - V should slowly increase to high 3’s at Pedal Down (Full Pedal V).
Ok on pin #7 pedal not depressed shows .9v and pedal down goes to 3.6v.
The 11 code shows on the screen when you turn the key on. It only shows for about 1 second. If you cycle the key it does not show again. If you leave the key off for a few minutes it will show again.
r4f sells the pedal for $600+shopping. I tried to order from cart mart about $100 less but no confirmation yet. Used on eBay is $400. I may go that route.
