I will soon be replacing my flooded cell batteries with gel batteries. I live in the desert and maintenance and battery life in the heat is not fun.
Two questions:
What model of the Zivan charging system is in the 2012?
Does the charger require a change/mod to go from flooded to gel?

I am not familiar with the latest years, but any charger will need a setting changed to properly charge a different type of battery. If there is a yellow box under the hood, you have the Chinese made Delta Q. Older GEMs used the Italian made Zivan NG1. Early GEMs before 2000 used several other brands that are now considered obsolete.
