Hi my 2010 gem car has been having issues with the accelerator pedal where only one spot in the pedal will allow you to go full speed, I’ve tried looking into options on new pedals but haven’t come up with any good solutions. I’ve tried an 2002 envoy pedal which looked very similar but didn’t work when plugged in. What are the current options for these?
Clarify- Your car works, but when you press the pedal down all the way it does not go full speed?
But somewhere in between there is a sweet spot that makes the car take off and zoom?
Does it maintain this speed once found?
Nice and smooth, without stutter?
What is top speed?
Does the car throw any codes on the dash?
Any other lights visible on the dash?

Right- cross matching pedals has been a challenge. I have about $800 in pedals in my own junk box that DON’T work.

Then came 10,001.
Yes pedal all the way down it tops out around 13-14mph but somewhere in the middle there is a spot that will make it go up to 25. It’s hard to keep it in the same exact spot to see how it will act, but seems like it does fine getting up to speed it’s just hard to keep it there. No codes or anything on dash
