My 2009 gem es motor is overheating! Rode for 20 minutes and temp light came on and it quit going. Motor is so hot you can’t hardly touch it
What is different today that was not in play yesterday?
Different route? Heavier load?
When was the last time you had your motor serviced?
When the motor cooled down did it start working again? Or is it still dead?
It might be time to pull off the band cover and have a look at the brushes and comm.
