Ok this is my first post, on this forum and I know people always say read and read before posting but I cannot find this information, so I am asking. I have a 2001 GEM with an old silver charger, ( cannot find a name). It has three inputs. A four wire connector with two greens and two whites. A eight wire connector with only two browns and one red. And a 12 wire connector with two wires only, red and black that go to the steering column. I am putting on a 72 volt quick q charger, (don’t need to know its a POS, I am a dealer for them so that is what I am using) I hooked the negative (black and white with the black box to the B- on the controller and the positive to the battery side of the solenoid. The unit charges perfect but, if any of the three connections are off of the original charger the Gem will not turn on. so my question is, how do I bypass the old charger to the new charger. sorry for the post being long but i tried to not leave out any info.
