2000 gem charging

I’m still a Chevy volt believer… And they are getting cheaper and cheaper. The temp pack I’m running in my 2016 probably cost me $600 for the batteries and another 250 in cables and BMS.

That said, i.dont think the t1 and t2 controllers like 94+ voltage

I agree. See them all the time for a few hundred. And I still have a few harnesses.
I think batteries are fine, just run it. Charger fault is not important if car is running. Maybe try a different profile some time.

I agree with Inwo, the charger fault is not ideal, but the bulk charge does seem to be getting into the cells. A good 12 volt charger may be useful as time goes on. I would disconnect, clean, and use dielectric grease on all the high-amperage terminals. I’d consider these a temporary set of batteries, but they should serve for quite a while as long as you take care of them. Monitor the voltages, Keep them charged, and Check the water. Even if not using the car charge them at least monthly. Also, use the battery disconnect (or add one) every time you park for over an hour. The range will not be great and these batteries are not maintenance-free.
