I have a 2000 E825 4 seater. We left for a week on vacay, I charged the cart and turned off the battery switch before we left. Cart was fine then. When we returned, I turned on the battery switch and no power.
A GEM mechanic came out and traced the power and all good to the controller. Found a split wire that may have shorted the controller.(controller definitely had a burnt smell inside when I checked it).
So had the T1 controller rebuilt. Reinstalled it correctly (labeled all wiring prior to removing it). Turned on battery switch. When I turn the ignition key the display flashes all 0’s then goes blank.
Any thoughts? My electrical skill level is basic to novice. I have voltmeters but am never sure I am using them correctly. I am pretty handy in most other areas requiring tools and such so am not afraid to try pretty much anything.
