I have a ZAP Xebra in which the batteries caught fire. I understand from the dealer that there have been multiple occurrences of this problem. I am trying to contact other owners who had similar problems. Does anybody have more information on this issue?
I work in ZAP communications and own a Xebra, so naturally I was concerned when I found your story. You should contact ZAP’s Customer Service in Santa Rosa, California. Talk to Michael Rickard at 707-526-6444. I talked to him before posting this and he hadn’t heard about this.
