Wheel lug question

Hello just bought 4 used wheels hubs and brakes and everything for my 2002 project gem car.

My brakes that where on the vehicle where rusted really bad and I needed to buy brake lines and cylinders so instead I found a set of 4 that are used but cleaned and painted on eBay for cheaper.

Anyways my old lugs are 12 mm. The new set that I got online are 10 mm. Not sure if I should go through the hassle of taking everything apart to put the bigger ones in the new ones I got or of the smaller ones are fine.

Not sure if there’s an advantage or disadvantage to having the larger one. I would much rather leave the small ones in. Any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks

Nobody here is going to tell you that 10MM are Ok when you removed 12. Your on your own.

If you’re not understanding exactly what I’m saying. I’m just wondering if there is any advantage to having to 12 mm

Slack

12 MM are stronger.

My 1999 4 seater has 10MM

Make sure the lug nuts clamp the wheel enough if you have steel rims.
