There is no doubt that Volkswagen has taken supercar electric vehicles to a new level with the introduction of the diesel/electric Volkswagen XL1 supercar. It is claimed that the vehicle can do an incredible 261 mpg yet still manages to keep the same characteristics of your traditional supercar.
