M.I.T. is working on a new ultra capacitor that will carry the same charge as a lithuim ion battery at the same size and cost.a prototype will be ready in five years.If this goes well it will eliminate the effect of tempature on charge loss and decrease charge time.Not to mention the amount of times you can charge it.
