Tire Wear

1 cut a piece of 2X4 24 inches long.

2 place it against the tire leaning out ward so it contacts the tire above the bulge

3 put a mark on the concrete at the front and back of the tire diameter

4 repeat on the other side

5 roll the cart back and measure the distance

6 adjust the toe to 1/8 toe in

1 full turn on each tie rod moves toe about 1/8 inch.

NOTE: MOST NEGATIVE CAMBER IS A RESULT OF EXCESSIVE TOE OUT. SHIMMING SHOULD NOT BE DONE BEFORE ADJUSTING TOE,

IF YOU SHIM TOE MUST MUST MUST BE ADJUSTED,

Thank You. I will remove the shim and adjust the toe. If that doesn’t fix it , then I will shim the camber. Thanks again.

Thank You,
It was the Toe adjustment… I put took the shims out and just did the alignment… Huge improvement. Thank You

@Old_Houseboater Replying to an old thread, but just used your instructions to set the camber. Tracks much better now. Thank you.

Wheel alignment required. Anyway you should check it
