T2 runs without speed sensor

@AssyRequired
From email thread:
"Speedometer working correct. Accurate speed without MM and lower with it until reaching 25 mph
As suggested I ran it with MM and speed sensor disconnected. It ran just fine and performed the same. Ran for probably 15 min a lot at full power. Seems to perform really well easily breaking traction until it hits 25 mph then just stays there."

Anyone else have an idea how a car can limit to 25mph, with or without speed sensor.
This is:
E825 2 passenger Gen 3
5 hp motor
T2 controller
10.35/1 gear ratio
LFP lithium battery
24s 105 AH

Should be flying to 35mph, yes?

Check the brake drums. If even just one of four is hanging up, despite 85-88 volt pack output, it’ll drag enough that even at 100% rack on the throttle, about 25 mph is all you will hit.

Dave, is this yours or Byrons albatross? @AssyRequired

Let me dig up my testing notes from my 2002 longback and I can give you or Byron a call. Too much to type and from my experience, not all the posted info seems to be fully accurate. Its close, but not on the dot and some info is missing but we may be about to twerk around it. (Not a typo)

Byron is working on it. I cross posted all over, although I’m sure he can figure it out.

Someone else said the speed sensor only regulates the regen breaking.

Byron and I spoke this morning, bounced a few ideas around. I filled him in on what I could remember from messing around with my 2002 years ago in various configurations.

I think he actually has the T2 from that vehicle after I scrapped it, I’ll try to dig up all the various GE sentry configs.
