I use my Ford Think less than once a week. I keep it plugged into the charger (wall plug) 24/7 with the Master Switch in the ON position. Is this ok or should I keep it plugged in and turn OFF the Master Switch (under the driver’s seat) when not in use? Or do I charge it fully, then disconnect the wall charger and keep the Master Switch in the OFF position? Any insight here would be appreciated. Thanks!
Turn the master switch off when not in use. The position switch has nothing to do with charging. I only charge mine when it’s needed. I usually get 3 or 4 trips out of mine between charges. I do have lithium though.
Not necessary but only for safety reasons
Sorry for hijacking this message, but how do I post a new topic in the GEM forum? I cannot find the + or new thread button.
Tap the c key on your keyboard. This will open up the editor window.
Depending on what page you are on, you may need to cleat out a few of the boxes that have auto filled. (It may think you want to add on to the current topic).
Change the subject to something witty and memorable.
Leaving it on will drastically shortening the life of the instrument cluster and dc/dc converters.
