Is an electric bike safer than a conventional motorcycle?
Perhaps somebody who has experienced a traditional motorcycle and an electric motorcycle could comment upon the differences and the potential safety implications?
This is an area of the electric vehicle market which is often overlooked but it is a large market both in the US and around the world.
I can’t see how it could be. I have never ridden an electric but spent many years on gas powered bikes and by far the biggest hazard is the other drivers on the road. Perhaps I’m just getting old, but it seems the skill level of the average U.S. driver has gone downhill dramatically in the last 20 years.

I think you’ve hit the nail on the head, the only real danger for safe drivers on the roads is unsafe drivers.
