Quiq charger installation on e825

Trying to replace the old zivan charger for this 912-7200. I’m just not certain where to connect all these wires to safely.

Where are you planning to mount the charger?

Depending on how quick you hacked the old Zivan out, Explore where those wires went. (mainly the Pos and Neg)

Don’t lose track of the little wires(red and green). They are your interlock wires. They need to be connected together for your car to run.

Delta Q sometimes comes with a few different configs/wires coming out of it. Where did it come from?

Red wire goes to your closest B+.This usually the big nut on the right side of your dash. There is usually a big fuse attached,

Black wire - is B-. This is usually over on top of the motor controller Right side connector.

White wire - is Temp sense wire. This is sometimes molded into a block with the black wire. Also attaches to B-.

Green wire - Ignore for your application. It is not used. Don’t hook it to anything.

Depending on what batteries you have in this car, make sure your charger is set with the correct charge profile.

I plan on mounting it back in the same spot where the old one came out with some spacers behind it to give it a little room.

Can’t really say where it came from it was with a bunch of our parts that I was going through since we were planning on selling them but now we’re going to hopefully fix it. It has a black and red terminal cable and then green and white plugs.

Also, it looks like the green and red wire that came out of the old charger are connected to a plug that’s just dangling

I was able to get it connected but now I am having issues programming it. Do I remove the b+ part of the charger itself and change it with that? Or do I remove a connection from the battery itself?

Programming (assuming you are attempting the tap method) is a frustrating art/talent/bit of luck.

Use either the red or the black wire, disconnect it from the battery source.
The charger needs to not see the battery during the boot stage, then give it a peek for a moment at just the right time, then take it away again.
