Pulled a motor to replace input shaft and found this in the armature. Very hard. Motor ran good. Anybody have an answer.
It’s probably balancing epoxy. Leave it there.
Blow all that other cr@p/dust out. Stand upwind.

Why does my motor smell like doublemint when I pull long hills?
I knew of a guy that built high end race boat motors. After every build he would light up a nice cigar and tip some ashes into the oil pan before sealing it up.
Too funny. 
You wouldn’t want a race motor to be too tight now would you?
