Other car electrics

The main focus on an electric conversion is the motor, controller, charger and batteries (and other bits).

But one thing I seem to not find much about is the other electrics in the car.
Like headlights, tail lights, interior lights, etc.
I would assume converting those to LED is a great start.
But second to that, does one run it off a separate battery ?
Like in a normal car everything is 12V, problem solved.
But now on a 144VDC conversion, where does one draw power from for the other electrics lets call it accessories.

Normal practice is to utilize a DC/DC converter to reduce voltage to 12 volts for acessory services.

Ahh ok, that explains some of the dc/dc stuff I been reading about. Now it all makes more sense Thanks
