I can’t stand how big the turn signals are so I am trying out this idea, they are led and were $14.79 on Amazon. I vacant installed them up yet because I want to paint the chrome bezel black.
The large colored lens was likely to meet federal side visibilty requirements. Im fairly certain no one here gives a chit about that anymore here, if they ever did. Even less fvcks are probavly given where you are
Those actually look pretty good with the chrome.
The front turn signals stick out so cars coming from the side can see the blinking light

My 2013 has a dual filament bulb in the turnsignal, but no running light wire on the socket?
The headlight housing has a small running light bulb in addition to the head light
I replaced the socket with a 3 wire socket and put in a dual bulb (LED). I tapped into the headlight line for power source. Now I have amber running lights. Looks much better and makes the GEM more visible at night.
Where did you get the 3 wire sockets?
I used these on the running lights, with led head light bulbs, the color is light purple
