NEV shocks adjustment

Continuing the discussion from Changing rear shocks in a 2002 gem:

I recently replaced the shocks in my 2002 Gem with the NEV replacement shocks.They enclose a spanner type wrench adjustment for the 5 settings on the shocks. It looks like something that you would get with an IKea bureau. After trying it one one shock for about 15 minutes with no luck. I went into my basement and got 14in pipe wrench and adjusted all for in about 5 minutes. Highly recommend that approach!

Hey If you jack up the car and take thee weight off it makes adjusting the shocks much easier.

I don’t know if you had the car in the air when you attempted your Adjustment.
