I got my controller reinstalled over the weekend. Unfortunately I have a strange stuttering problem. Sort of like a Volkswagen with a bad clutch. The maker of the controller has been very responsive but I think he is about of ideas for me. Since there is no guarantee that the people that made my car used the same colors as the guy that made my controller, he included instructions that list 36 different wiring layouts. That is, there is three phase cables and three hall wires. I went down the list and tried every possible combination but none of them worked any better than matching like colors together.
Seems like something is off and it has to be something with my motor or hall wiring. The controller shipped in 120 rotation with the ability to switch to 60. If I switch to 60 I get a sorry s jumpy heart beat effect. Is it possible the manufacturer choose something other than 120 out 60 when they built the motor?
All that aside,I did make progress I can turn the key, activate the controller, and attach to it with Bluetooth. And I was also able to trace three mystery wires that identify drive and reverse.
So any clues our advice would be appreciated.
