Just got me E825 going with a set of new batteries
Im in WI with cold weather
anyhow I left the house with a full charge and went 9 miles and came back with it 46% now it was about 30 degrees that day but I think I should not have used that much battery
what are ur thoughts on this ?
You did not give us information on terrain, how many passengers etc. At 30 degrees with new batteries 9 miles is not an unreasonable number. Range will increase when batteries are fully broken in.
I was on level ground and I was alone.
I know the cold didn’t help but when I bought the car I stopped at a dealer and they told me that I should Beautiful le to go a out 45 miles on a full charge
Does that sound right ?
I only paid $400.00 for the car but hada put new batteries in it
Lets start at the beginning.
What year cart?
What model?
What brand of battery?
What type, size, model
Does it have any modifications?
Your dealer lied. (Big Time). On average 25 miles at 50% on a warm day is REAL good range.
If your cart has been sitting brakes could be dragging. If it’s an older cart it probably has 90 weight oil in the gearbox instead of 30. Ok in warm weather but a drag in cold.
You have to go thru 10 to 20 charge cycles to break in your batteries.
go away TJ… you really found a car for $400… good on you… I have an eS (truckette) live in Denver… it gets cold here too… I draw the line at driving in less that 34 degrees… right now I’m getting about 2 miles to a bar… oops my car is an '05 and the dash shows bars not %… think there are 6 green bars plus a yellow and a red… I have the Deka GEL 108Ah batteries and a 9.6 hp motor… my range is about 27 miles in the summer… drops to about 15 in the winter… I am a lead foot and travel at 30mph most of the time…
