Half Shaft Replacement

I am considering replacing the half shaft on my 2000 2 seat GEM. The steps in the manual seem a little confusing. So I need to remove the retaining nut form the wheel assembly, and then I assume there is enough flex to pull the half shaft back to get it out and away from the wheel assembly,
Then I need to get it out of the differential by prying it away with short pry bars ?
Is there perhaps a youTube video out there for this job?

Any insight would be appreciated.

As you may have learned, there’s probably not enough room to just pull the inner joint out. The manual says to also undo the top shock mount to lower the control arm. I took off the lower mount as it was easier to get out, then there’s enough space to get the inner joint off.
