The grounding wire came loose (completely) and I’m not sure where it was connected to at the license plate frame. Do I need to handle this in a certain way? Thanks, I’m not real experienced with this stuff and it’s a GEM I just purchased (2002.)
On my 2002, it connects to the aluminum frame under the seat towards the rear. I think you can see the wire coming up on left of this image, with red connector… The yellow wire is the hot lead.
Thank you. Same here, but where does it connect at the license plate frame area? That’s the “side” that came loose.
The license plate light is going to have a bulb holder with the hot lead going to the center of the holder (touches center of bulb base) and the ground hooks
to the case. Yo will have to remove frame and light and look. Of course if you don’t drive at night, not an issue.
