Hello! Check for sale section.
Nothing matches my needs unfortunately.
Really? See my post above.
New and used.
The reason Byron suggested the return of your charger, and NOT sending it in. They never repair dci chargers. And the things they do fix are either not bad, or need several trips.
I apologize, I am extremely naive and ignorant on all of this.
Will what you have work as factory? I was under the impression I needed the 922-7200-04B because of my configuration. If it’s easier feel free to call me 570-814-7799 and we can discuss/ arrange payment etc
Sorry, I know it’s easy to miss posts.
All base DQ chargers are the same. DCI type has built in 12v converter.
Generic type has universal leads and connectors.
Oem dq chargers use special leads to make them plug and play. Then double the price.
From time to time new chargers show up on the surplus market. A few of us, myself, Byron, and lithiumgods, save them as a service to members.
To make one P&P for Gem. I can put on your Gem leads and plugs .
PITA, but much less money.
Byron may have some himself and this is kind of his thread. Maybe even for less money.
I don’t understand the part numbers, so go by description and battery type.
I do not do phone, but Byron can help you. I can even send him a charger if he’s out.
This one looks like it could work for me? All the plugs appear to match anyway!
Get the charger from dave, It will drop in and work perfect. Also If you convert to lithium down the road he can reprogram it to wotk perfectly. He is a Gem specialist so you know it will work properly. Plus he is less than half the price
Absolutely thank you.
Sounds good, ill have to see how to set the charger once it is in. If youd like to message me we can set up payment, shipping etc
Shows high rate charge.
Charge will fail and set code if white wire not connected to thermistor. Original connection should be ok.
Takes a bit to get tested. Looking good so far.
These are the 72v leads.
Black to controller B-.
White and green plugged in as removed.
Red is B+. To psdm? @AssyRequired
I like Red Charge wire best on the PSDM. No need to remove that other cable you find there. Place the loop connector over the existing nut/stud and fasten with another nut. Be very careful anytime you are playing with the connections on the front of the PSDM. Those studs are SOFT and twist off quite easily.
Any time you are adding wire connections over a high current connector is asking for a bad connection and big trouble later.
I messaged my venmo link.
A new charger is +$250 and requires your core upfront.
Your choice.
Used charger is set to Gem #14. Can you check your old one, or is it dead?
It is dead unfortunately
I will pay you to ship it to me. The cables will help someone else.
