Does anyone know how much a 2001 E4 GEM car would weight WITHOUT the batteries?
I know the curb weight is 1280 but I think that is WITH batteries?
Thank you!

Just curious but why would you need to know the unloaded weight?
I guess I’d either pull and weigh one battery OR if you have the manufacturer and size I’d look it up on the OEM’s website and then multiply by 6 and subtract that from the nominal curb weight. Should get you pretty close.

I bought a GEM from California without batteries and had it shipped to Omaha.
We needed to unload it off the semi trailer last night. We had to turn the car sideways and roll it off on ramps from the side from about 6 ft in the air.
I was curious if anyone knew the weight so I would have an idea of how sturdy to build the ramps. I was estimating 800lbs but without the original battery weight it was just a guess.
Its unloaded now, so no further need for this information.
