GEM Accelerator Pedal Assembly Needed

Actually 31 volts only.

@Old_Houseboater do youhave time to review?

No need to open cassette or remove arm. I’m hoping that this fix will be universal to all vehicles using the Teleflex. Such as Matt’s rv.
The oem part is still functional. You can switch from oem to electronic tps to compare performance. I believe it was you that told me worn pot robs speed.
Still in beta testing, I would not sell it until it gets thoroughly tested.

Ok, I’ll get it sent out.

I need a pedal sensor for a 2009 Gem e4. Do you know when will this version be available and how much will it cost? Thanks.

Hey @erictci, welcome to the group.

First- What makes you think you need a new pedal?
Many times this is misdiagnosed. Let’s make sure you get what is needed.

After a small amount of testing the new design does seem to work.
My original replacement potbox has been well tested, and I will continue to offer it as my only option for Gem.

I know the old pedal is broken because I opened the sender and the potentiometer track has failed. It’s like the adhesive has broken down and the conductive material is loose. The wiper was removing it. The other electronics seem OK, the contactor was closing on pedal down and the dash panel is lighting up appropriately. This is an old cart that was given to me in broken condition.

If anyone in the rv community is looking for a replacement, I have several solutions that are tested to work.

Dave, do you have anything that will work on an EM-50 rv?

Addendum: its a '76 but it was revamped '80-81 hope that helps.

I’ll help.

GEM Accelerator Pedal 6-Pin OEM Polaris 2010469 2012+ E2 E4 E6 ELXD | eBay

On what? (specify what you are trying to fit in on)

  1. I don’t know electrically what the 6th pin is for
  2. That pedal arm is not going to work as a simple bolt-on for Gen2 Cars(05 to 10/11 cars). These cars have a big hairpin loop and mount in front of the floor pan.
  3. Price is downright criminal (does it come with a tube of sexy lube?). Part of what Dave and I are doing is to put together something under $780. I will not support anybody charging prices like that.

Wrong plug for 2012. Wrong mounting, but maybe 2012 is drilled for 2008 type. May come with adapter.

I have my doubts, 6th pin is nc switch and not used in Gem.

" Compatible Models: This pedal is specified for 2012 and newer GEM models, including:

** GEM E2 / E4 / E6*
** GEM EL / ELXD*
** GEM ES / E4S / E6S"*

It looks like you bought one?

I’m 99% sure this pedal will not work.

What exactly are you asking here?
Are you in need of a pedal unit for your car?
or trying to source the pedal issue for others?

Not with attitude.

Whty you gotta hit me those negative waves man?

Sorry.
I’m extremely positive that pedal will not work.

699-100 does not work. Look though old posts. Must have been tried half dozen times.
Good for sales though.
