Ge sentry sw monitor function

Is there anyone using the sentry monitor function?
I needed it today to measure % of throttle on a T4 controller and it didn’t seem to work. Tried it on two “bad” controllers, but doubt both would have a throttle problem.
Possible it only works in a running car.
Also possible that it only works with early fw. T1-T2 etc.
Will someone connect to their car and help me out?
I tried graphing the start switch plus throttle. That did not work either.

This is a great trouble shooting tool. Must be someone using it.
If not ill take you through it.

I have not advanced to the monitor function yet. It looks like it would be a handy thing to have in the bag of tricks.

I have a T4 as well. Let me try that.

Saw it in the software but never really pursued it. 7 psi deep tread turf tires and high performance sont usually mix…

Do you use a 23pin wye cable or is it based on stored data from the controller?

Not needed. Connect pc to pins 22 & 23. May need to “y” 23 for car to drive. Not sure.

Thanks Dave. Curious about it but also not sure if i have the time. The blue bomber the '10 el that you put the 2p volt pack in (first aftermarket lithum modded gem?) is headed to a new home soon.

Also tried all the other sw in a T4.
Nothing will read throttle %.
I tried activating start switch and forward switch. Nothing.

Will T4 sw work in a T3?
The T3 sw loads in a T4 ok. No way to test it though.
I have 4 versions.

Is there an older version that might work?

hi dont know but i get a T4 back from repair fsip and they had also put T3 sw in it ?
if you find T3 to test with better if gl4j will work

also see people got controllers back from fsip and not work,
bad if it are wrong sw,get much trouble and send back

Good info, I have an unknown T3 here. I can send it to someone.
Will the T4 sw work in T3? GL8L etc.
I just wonder why I can’t get Sentry to monitor throttle %. Other monitor functions work fine.
