As the public relations machine continues to ramp up the potential for the Formula E Championship it has been reported that Rio de Janeiro and Rome have confirmed their participation in the event from 2014. There are many more cities showing great interest in this revolutionary electric sports championship which experts believe will literally change the look and feel of the consumer electric car market.
We have already seen the first team sign up in the shape of Drayson Racing Technologies and with names such as McLaren already involved in the development of the initial vehicles there are certainly some great reputations and enormous funding behind this latest addition to the FIA portfolio.
