Fill for differential

Anybody help me find fill neck for the front dig. On 2001 e4 Gem. I know it’s 16 oz of 30 w. Thanks ( front Diferential)

There isn’t a fill neck. You pop out the rubber disk that’s on the steel lower cover and suck the old oil out though the hole and then put the new oil in through the same hole.

IIRC, it’s closer to 12oz maybe even less.

30wt. will get you a bit more range because it’s less resistance as the gears splash through it, but GL4 75-90W will considerably quiet down or possibly even eliminate the clatter from the gears.

No need to spend extra for synthetic or any fancy oils. It doesn’t turn fast enough or have enough pressure on it to benefit from those kind of oils. Just plain old auto parts house brand dinosaur bone oil is fine IMO.

Thank You. That helped a lot😁
