Electric car funding of £35 million goes to four UK cities

The UK cities of Nottingham, Milton Keynes, London and Bristol will receive between £6 million and £13 million each from the UK government. This payment will be used to encourage the take-up of electric vehicles across the UK with in excess of 25,000 parking spaces also being made available to plug in vehicle owners. Electric cars will also have access to an array of road privileges such as being able to drive in bus lanes.
