Last week saw an electric car rally in Cornwall to commemorate the UK government’s promise to cover 75% of the cost of installing charging stations in public areas and private homes. Many hope this will kick-start the UK electric car market which has encountered some turbulence during the recent economic turmoil.
Now THAT is how to promote electric cars. Wish they did that here in the US. We get the rebates, but that just means the car companies can charge more and get more for the vehicle.
