While electric vehicles have not exactly set the world alight in the UK, the Ecotricity Electric Highway has seen a 4500% increase in consumption between February and April 2013, compared to the same period last year.
While this is from a relatively small base, it does show that electric vehicles are now beginning to catch the eye of consumers in the UK and perhaps a lack of charging stations has been the main issue?
