I have a 2011ELXD. Is there any p.m. needed on the differential. Should I and can I change the oil?
There is no maintenance schedule. If it doesn’t leak LEAVE IT ALONE!

You can swap out the Oil. The oils with higher weights can make the transmission a bit more quiet. I have found that higher weight oils quiet down the gear whine slightly. Don’t look for the heavyweight oils to complely knock out the gear whine it’s not gonna happen. But it definitely takes it down a notch or 2. It’s very strange how some transmission are very very quite and others whine like crazy.
